Weekend round-up: AFC Sudbury lose six-goal thriller

Nathan Clarke scored on his return to AFC Sudbury, but the Yellows crashed to a 4-2 reverse against Norfolk side Wroxham on Saturday.

In the Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division, Hadleigh United lost 2-1 at leaders Dereham Town - their fifth consecutive defeat - ahead of today’s home game against Haverhill Rovers (3pm).

Cornard United were stuffed 9-0 by Saffron Walden Town in the First Division, while there were also defeats for Long Melford - 3-1 at Brightlingsea Regent - and Halstead Town - 2-1 at Cambridge University Press.

Today (both 3pm), Halstead host Brightlingsea Regent and Long Melford take on Cornard United.
