AFC Sudbury drew their fourth successive league game on Saturday, 2-2 at Waltham Forest.

The Yellows, who signed Taylor Sinfield for a second spell and Danny Shipton, formerly from Long Melford prior to kick-off, went into the break level after Leon Antoine equalised a Corley Whitely strike.

A deflected shot from Dave Cowley gave AFC the lead after the break but with 10 minutes to play Forest equalised through Jack Leachman.

In the FA Vase, Hadleigh United drew 1-1 with Walsham-le-Willows with neither side able to force a winner in extra-time, meaning the tie will be settled in a replay at Walsham on Wednesday night.

Long Melford crashed out of the competition with an 8-0 home defeat by Brantham Athletic.

In the rugby, Sudbury beat Finchley 25-18 at Whittome Field in the Senior Vase first round.
