View from the dugout: Chris Tracey

AFC Sudbury boss Chris Tracey reflected on a workmanlike performance to see off the league leaders Maldon and Tiptree 2-0 on Tuesday night.

“Even though they had a lot of possession towards the end of the game, I think the team spirit has been growing in recent weeks and really shone through,” he said. “Alex Archer didn’t have many saves to make in the second half, not real clear-cut ones and it was a good performance, especially first half.”

He also praised a ‘fantastic’ second half in the 1-1 draw at Whitham on Saturday, saying it was a ‘travesty’ not to win.
