Video: Dilloway pleased despite friendly defeat

Hadleigh United assistant manager Alan Dilloway reflected positively on his side’s performance despite suffering a 2-0 defeat to Colchester United’s Under-21s on Saturday.

The professional outfit’s youngster’s pedigree shone through as Alex Cooke headed the visitors in front after seven minutes before Alex Cazer scored deep into added time with a powerful close-range strike to wrap up proceedings.

But despite kicking off their pre-season with defeat, Dilloway was left pleased with his side’s efforts.
