AFC Sudbury manager David Batch felt his side more than deserved their late extra-time winner against Redbridge on Tuesday night.

The Yellows boss spoke to deputy sports editor Russell Claydon following Kris Newby’s 119th-minute header finally sealing the tie after it finished 2-2 after 90 minutes.

Daniel Chambers had put The Motormen ahead in the third minute before Newby headed home an eqauliser.

But the visitors went into the break 2-1 ahead when Brian Moses converted from a corner.
