Today’s local football and rugby fixtures have been hit by the stormy weather that has swept across the country over the past 48 hours, but Hadleigh United’s home game with CRC is set to go ahead (3pm).

AFC Sudbury’s trip to Waltham Forest in Ryman League Division One North was postponed on Friday, while Thurlow Nunn League First Division fixtures between AFC Sudbury Reserves and Long Melford, as well Braintree Town Reserves v Halstead Town and March Town United v Cornard United, also fell yesterday.

In rugby, Sudbury travel to Harlow in London Three North East this afternoon (2.15pm) — the match goes ahead.
