AFC Sudbury have announced that Steve Spriggs has committed his immediate future to the club until the end of the 2014/15 season.

The pacey winger who had signed on dual registration from King’s Lynn Town, where he scored 30 goals last season to help them gain promotion, has now joined David Batch’s squad on a full-time basis.

Spriggs also previously worked with Batch at Wroxham, where he was a key part of the Norfolk sides FA Vase run to Wembley and teams up at AFC with former King’s Lynn Town captain Ross Watson.

Speaking to the club’s website Batch said: “I expect Steve to be a key signing for the club and I am confident that he will help us achieve our aim of continual improvement.”
