HADLEIGH United will open and close their Ridgeons League Premier Division campaign with home matches against sides from the east coast.
The Brettsiders have made big moves in the transfer market this summer by snapping up former Cambridge United and Bury Town midfielder Michael Steward, as well as left-back Ben Wake, both from Ryman League outfit Needham Market.
United begin the season on August 13 against Great Yarmouth Town and finish it with a home clash against newly-promoted Gorleston on April 28.
Their first midweek clash of the season is on Tuesday, August 16, at home to Brantham Athletic.
Hadleigh have Boxing Day off, but travel to Newmarket Town on New Year’s Eve and host Felixstowe and Walton United on Bank Holiday Monday, January 2.
Cornard United — who should be under new ownership by the end of August — will travel to Long Melford for a local derby on Boxing Day.
Halstead Town will then visit Blackhouse Lane on Bank Holiday Monday, January 2, for another derby match.
Cornard travel to Swaffham Town on the opening day of the season, August 13, before hosting Saffron Walden Town three days later.
They close their campaign on April 14 at title favourites Whitton United.
Melford open and close against Thetford Town — at home on August 13 and away on April 21 — but don’t play a midweek match until they travel to Stowmarket Town on Tuesday, August 23. On Bank Holiday Monday, January 2, they visit Whitton United.
Halstead Town host Downham Town on August 13 before travelling to Cambridge University Press three days later.
Their holiday programme kicks off with a home match against newly-promoted Brightlingsea Regent on Boxing Day and close their campaign at Rosemary Lane against March Town United on April 21.
