AFC Sudbury Ladies’ Marie Seabrook and Laura Yarrington have been called up for Suffolk Ladies’ match against Cambridgeshire.

Manager Sarah Dooley has named both in a 19-strong squad for the East Anglian Counties Championship match at Ely City on Thursday, March 12 (7.30pm).

Suffolk will be hoping it is third time lucky, after seeing their previous two attempts to play their opening match thwarted by the weather.

They were scheduled to host Essex at Woodbridge Town in November, but it fell victim to a waterlogged pitch.

The fixture was rescheduled for Brantham Athletic at the end of January, but was called off less than 90 minutes before kick-off.

AFC Sudbury Ladies thrashed Steveange Reserves 6-0 at home on Sunday and host Ipswich Wanderers at the Delphi Club this Sunday (2pm).

AFC have now won six league games in a row.
