Cornard Dynamos Blues Under-15s took Framlingham’s unbeaten record off them to book a Suffolk FA Minor Boys Cup quarter-final spot.
Setting up in a new attacking formation at Blackhouse Lane paid dividends as Cornard went into the lead after a goalless first half when Jamie Ward scored direct from a free-kick and Tommy Robinson went on to bend his own free-kick around the wall.
Framlingham put five in attack and pulled one back, but Dynamos comfortably held out.
They have been handed a trip to Chantry Grasshoppers in the next round, while Bures United Under-15s are away to Kirkley and Pakefield Gunners with both ties set to be played on December 15 (1.30pm).
