PREMIER DIVISION

Brantham Athletic 1 Hadleigh United 3

A wet Saturday afternoon at Brantham was a good day out for Hadleigh’s travelling supporters as a convincing win moved Stuart Crawford’s side up to fourth in the league table.

Hadleigh keeper Darren Moyes conceded a penalty, but then saved Dave Grimwood’s spot-kick to prevent a Brantham recovery.

The home side eventually got a late consolation as Ben Deacon got through to score.

n Hadleigh United Reserves reached the fourth round of the Suffolk Senior Reserves Cup with a 3-0 win at Coplestonians Reserves.

Scorers were Mark Gaisford, Josh Everett and Liam Britton.
