AFC Sudbury - Wareham scores against old club in 3-1 defeat

AFC Sudbury’s poor start to the season continued with their second defeat in their opening two games at Maldon and Tiptree on Tuesday night.

Dave Wareham, with the club for the last two seasons, set-up the first for his new club before dispatching the vital second after Lee Boylan had equalised.

Just before the final whistle, the Essex side Ben Bradley scored from close range to make it 3-1, the same scoreline AFC were on the wrong end of in their league opener at home to Cheshunt on Saturday.

New striker David Bryant had made his debut in a three-pronged attack, though James Baker had to go to hospital for an arm injury after colliding with a fence.
