A Scott Mitchell goal 20 minutes from time saw AFC Sudbury earn a point at Tilbury on Tuesday night.
After Rimmel Daniel gave the hosts the lead in the 54th minute, Mitchell converted from Ben Thompson’s cut-back to draw them level.
AFC, who have now only lost one of their last 10 league matches and drawn their last two, created chances to win the game but could not beat Chico Ramos a second time.
The result sees the Yellows move up two places in the table to eighth, three points off a play-off place.
