AFC Sudbury have announced they will host Witham Town on Wednesday at The MEL Group Stadium (7.45pm), instead of the originally scheduled date of Thursday.
It comes after the Yellows had their Ryman League Division One North fixture at Ware called off on Saturday due to a waterlogged pitch.
After a 3-3 draw at Waltham Forest the last time they played, last Wednesday, AFC moved into the play-off spots (5th) for the first time this campaign.
Witham’s 3-0 win at Aveley on Saturday saw them leapfrog Sudbury into 5th and go into Wednesday’s clash two points ahead of their Suffolk play-offs rivals, but having played three games less.
The match is the first of three scheduled home games at King’s Marsh, with Catham Town (Saturday) and Harlow Town (Tuesday) to follow.
AFC are then due to play Harlow again on the following Saturday, away in the reverse league fixture.
