AFC Sudbury climbed into the final Ryman League Division One North play-off spot last night (Monday) with a last gasp 1-0 victory over Wroxham.

As the sides looked destined to settle for a share of the spoils in what was a very even and entertaining encounter, left back Jack Cawley struck home an injury time volley to seal all three points and extend the Yellow’s unbeaten league run to 15 games.

The result see’s David Batch’s side finely poised in the table in their quest for promotion with trips to Waltham Forest tomorrow (Wednesday) and Ware on Saturday coming up next.
