Local sportsman dies of suspected seizure
SUDBURY Rugby Club and Hadleigh Cricket Club are today mourning the shock death of Josh Rix, aged just 23.
News broke of the father’s sudden death on Friday after he had learned of his mother’s death when travelling out to Australia to care for her.
Rix, a prop for Sudbury Rugby Club, had also been playing for Hadleigh Cricket Club last summer and was a popular figure at both clubs.
Sudbury were due to host Norwich at Whittome Field in London 3NE on Saturday, but postponed the match as a mark of respect.
