Three teams won in double figures again this week in the Glemsford and District Cribbage League. Clare Ex Service Club took a one-point lead with an 11-4 win over the Hare.

Club Glemsford Cock moved into second place with the same score against the Club Cherries, while the Club Lions lost 4-11 to Club Glemsford B, who took fourth spot.

Stoke-by-Clare Lion dropped to third, level on points with the Cock following an 8-7 win at Clare Globe.

Winning on all three tables, Pinkuah Arms recorded their first victory, 9-6, moving up five places against Cavendish Bull.

Both Angel teams won when playing the two Working Men’s Club teams, their first wins of the season. The A team took four points off the Club A side while Angel B won over the Club B side 8-7, also gaining four points.

Melford British Legion’s first win came with a close 8-7 result against Glemsford Club A.
