Under-15 Jonathan Amos scooped a double award, including Junior of the Year as Sudbury Cricket Club held their annual junior section presentation night.

Thanks were given to all the coaches, managers and the administration staff for their continued help, which saw the club once again pass the England Cricket Board’s Clubmark standard qualification.

The team managers reported a successful year with some notable wins, especially the under-11s over the rival sides of Colchester and Kelvedon.

Many of the juniors have been playing in the senior sides this year, including the first team, and doing well and learning from the adult players.

After the main players awards were made the evening culminated in a family barbecue.
