After taking only one point from their first three games, Hawks finished third in the Cambs C League, and now await the constitution of the leagues at under-16 to see whether they will be promoted to the B division.
Despite having players missing through suspension, holidays and injuries, and some playing out of position, they finished with a comfortable win against second from bottom Rangers.

Two Tom Lock goals in the first half put Hawks in control of a gam
e in which they were never really threatened.

Despite the windy conditions and bumpy pitch Hawks played some entertaining football.

As so often this season they just couldn't turn quality possession into goals.

Tom Boyce, who played magnificently, twice hit the woodwork, but blazed over from eight yards when it seemed easier to score.

Dynamos played their fifth game in nine days, the decider for the Colchester and District A League title.

Despite completely outplaying the Saints, Dynamos finish as runners-up.

Dynamos put pressure on from the start, but saw several chances go begging and Lexden get their goal on the break.

The second half was similar, with Lexden clinging on to their advantage and defending deep. More chances came and went for Dynamos, who on another day may have scored four or five.

Man-of-the-match Stevie Willis did an excellent job in central defence and the team as a whole played some of their best football this season and can be proud of their achievement.

COLTS man-of-the-match Jack Cole was outstanding in midfield, and it wasn't long before Oliver Jacques scored their first goal.

Colts keeper Zak Mitchell made some good saves to keep out the Dynamos' strike force.

Colts went two up when Cole broke through the defence, and slotted home. The second half had the Colts defence of Josh Carter and Danny Brooks working hard together and they kept the attackers at bay.

Colts soon applied pressure in the second half and Bradley Middleditch worked hard in midfield, supplying good balls to the strikers.

Cole got the third after a spell of pressure, before Jacques scored from the spot. Tyler Ackers rounded off the scoring.

UP against a team who had finished runners-up in the Ipswich League Dynamos played well with Davis making some outstanding saves to earn parents' player of the match.

It was a fine run from Maughn who set up Alliperti for a cool finish.

Kidman up front worked hard and did everything but score.
