Colne put in a better performance away to Tiptree Heath after the previous week's setback.
Wiskin returned, Davies partnered Lesiak in the back four, and Rees made his first start of the season on the flank.

Colne had the better of the first period, creating many chances, but could convert only one, Carl Metson finishing off a great cross from Coote.

Tiptree came out more determined in the second period, and after Coates robbed Williams in the Colne midfield, he sent a long-range shot over Puzey for the equaliser.

Colne came close when Coote, Metson, Whiting and Wiskin all had shots in target that the Heath defence and goalkeeper all somehow got blocks on.

The Reserves shared a six-goal thriller at the Rec against Arlesford, Josh Preston bagging a brace, and Will White adding to the tally for Colne.
