Running: Sudbury, Halstead latest
Thirteen Sudbury Joggers took part in the final Friday Five series race.
Great Bentley is renowned for being a fast, flat course and it proved so for the Joggers, who surpassed themselves.
Unstoppable Wesley Benton was first Jogger home in an impressive 26:55, a personal best, for ninth place, followed by in-form Darren Judd, in 29:30, for 28th place, also a new personal best.
Mark Clark was next in 30:26 for 41st overall, followed by consistent Christian Gillibrand in 31:33, for 65th place overall.
Amanda Henry had a good run in 32:14 to finish fourth lady, 73rd overall, just ahead of Eric Marseille, who clocked a personal best 32:18 for 74th place.
Christopher Moulton flew round in 33:03, another best time, for 87th spot, followed by Marie Shirley who knocked over a minute of her best for 33:31 to finish sixth lady and 103rd overall. Paul Preston ran round with Marie.
Fiona Mumford gets fitter with every outing and gained herself a new personal best in 37:06 for 199th, followed by determined Alex Wilson, in 38:12, for 221st.
Kitty Craig clocked 44:59 for 354th, followed by Emilie Lefebvre in 51:13.
Paul Preston knocked nearly 45 seconds off his personal best to finish in 35:04, for seventh overall at the Bushy 10K, at Peterborough.

Halstead Road Runners entered four competitors in the Friday 5 hosted by Great Bentley RC. In good running conditions the following results were recorded:
Jay, Dean 30.50; Kern, Wayne 31.07; Grealy, Mike 34.18; Thorogood, Keith 42.54.
Eight club runners made the trip to the Felsted 10K, hosted by the Grange Farm Trotters. On a mostly flat course, in warm conditions, Dean Jay was first home for the club, finishing 51st in 39:39.
New members Dean Pilgrim and Danny Hewitt finished 180th and 185th respectively. Results:

Bob Parmenter did the Walk with Smugglers undulating off-road Marathon, at Goudhurst, in the North Downs, Kent. He got round in five hours and 52 minutes.
