Motocross: Speedy Howlett

Halstead and District MCC rider Bradley Howlett, from Lavenham, competed in the second round of the DEP 2-stroke British Championship in the 125cc class at Landrake in Cornwall.
He qualified as the fastest junior in his heat, and after his three 125cc championship races finished seventh overall on the day, and fourth in the Junior Championship.
Three clubs in the Eastern Centre – Halstead, Woodbridge & District MCC and Diss & District MCC – are staging a Wednesday evening series of meetings.
The series, sponsored by GH Motorcycles of Colchester, runs at Halstead on June 11, Woodbridge on June 18 and Diss on July 2.
Meetings will start at 6pm and run through to 9pm. Entries for each meeting will be limited to 120 riders (experts and juniors).
