SCOTT Brace swept to victory in the Suffolk Amateur Championship at Stowmarket, two rounds of 67 giving him a four-stroke winning margin as he took the crown for the second time in three years.
Stoke-by-Nayland's Brace, 20, back from South Mountain Community College, Arizona, was in top form, and led Hugo Dobson (Fynn Valley) by one shot after the first round. Dobson's challenge fell away in the afternoon.

Brace was on level par after nine holes in the second round, thanks to an eagle at the 314-yard sixth. Birdies at the 11th and 15th holes ensured a second two-under-par round.

Paul Barnard (Ipswich) was the runner-up on 138 (70, 68), and Jack Cardy (Hintlesham) third on 140 (71, 69).
