Sudbury held their annual meeting and outdoor section prize presentation at the end of a successful season.
One team came top of the SCT League 2, the SMTL team reached the semi-final of the Millennium Trophy, and another team won the Boxford Upbeat Open.
Graham Rowland, Eric Moule and John Holmes were thanked for their work on the green.
A number
of friendly games had been played including those against Dagenham Sports Club and Leicester City and District BC.
Sudbury Cricket Club were invited "to cross the fence" for a game of bowls and it proved to be such a great success that it was suggested other sports teams from Sudbury could be invited, with an aim of increasing club membership.
Trophies were presented by vice-president Leo Dockerill.
