Published Date: 28 August 2008
Recently, we lost a dear friend, Mrs Brenda Meade, of Great Cornard, to lung cancer.
Before she died, she told me that she wanted to be able, via the Free Press, to write to you with regard to the wonderful caring treatment she was receiving from Ward 10, at West Suffolk Hospital, in Bury St Edmunds.

This was very much on her mind, so I am writing on Brenda's behalf as I know she would want me to.

Through her short time in the hospital, she was met with so much kindness and thoughtfulness from doctors, nurses and carers. I do hope that these wonderful 'angels' read this message as it is written with heartfelt thanks for all the people that were her family and friends – and especially from me.

Angie Christie,

Willowmere Park,

Little Cornard
