Published Date: 24 July 2008
I would like to complain about the NHS.
My husband had a letter, asking him if he would like to take part in a screening test for bowel cancer.
He agreed, only to be told that the hospital would not lay on transport, as the screening is not classed as an outpatient appointment.
So my husband had to find his own transport to Cambridge, which I think is disgusting.
It is just as well that a good friend offered to take him.
