CONGRATULATIONS to Nestlé Purina, to give credit to where it's due.
Earlier in the year I complained bitterly about the smell emanating from the Purina pet food factory chimneys.

After my letter in the press, I am very happy to report that a representative of Purina contacted me. He was very helpful and anxious to implement a system which would alert Purina when discharges occurred. It was agreed that I would act as a “watchdog” and notify Purina should further smells emanate from the chimneys.

It has been a joy to be able to work in and enjoy our garden (weather permitting) during the summer months without this problem arising. Well done, Purina. Keep up the good work. I was informed that maintenance work has to be carried out from time to time, when leaks may occur. Regrettably this is unavoidable.
