Selfish parents

THEY say children learn from their parents. That must be the reason why many are so thick and ignorant.
Since the schools reopened, I have had the task of driving past Sudbury Upper School in a minibus, running to a timetable. It has taken me up to eight minutes just to pass the frontage of this school because of the congestion caused by parents badly parked and stopping in the flow of traffic, or double parking, to find little Jimmy.
Would it not make sense for all schools to open playgrounds as car parks for parents to pick up? Insurance can’t be a problem as cars, if legal, have insurance and schools comprehensive cover. Don’t these parents realise they put more children at greater risk or do they not care, only for Jimmy?
