IT'S sad news to hear of the sudden death of Mr Dainty. My thoughts go out to all his family.
I was lucky enough to have known Mr Dainty when I was at Great Cornard Upper School back in the 1980s as a former pupil.

You couldn't wish to have a better PE teacher. He always gave 100% – especially at hockey, basketball and rugby.

He was a very competitive person and didn't mind a bit of banter.

He will be sadly missed by everybody at Great Cornard Upper School.

God bless.
