Sudbury's new super-server, Caroline Merry, of Thing-Me-Bobs in Borehamgate is now the proud holder of the Proud of Sudbury At Your Service shield.
Caroline beat off fierce competition from 10 of the town's most popular shop assistants to win.

The cheery 51-year-old was nominated for her friendly and helpful attitude to customers.

She was presented with the proud of Sudbury shield and £100 by Mark Haselden of solicitors Bates, Wells and Braithwaite, sponsors of the Free Press Proud of Sudbury campaign.

Caroline, who has worked at Thing-Me-Bobs for nearly three years, was nominated by Lesley Fisher, of Sudbury.
