A family has complained after being refused alcoholic drinks at the Grover & Allen pub in Sudbury because they were with young children.
Martin New was celebrating his sister’s birthday with his family, including his 75-year-old grandmother, when the group of 14 were told they could not buy any more drinks.
The pub, which is part of the Wetherspoon chain, has a policy of allowing only two alcoholic drinks for any adults accompanying children.
