THE Sudbury bus station eyesore has been mentioned again. The permanent solution to the overgrown weed patch is to build the bus station on it.
Suffolk County Council owns the bus station and has £460,000 to spend in Sudbury improving traffic flow.
According to Sudbury’s mayor the county council has a preference to do something with the Market Hill.
That seems a bit vague. Are they going to make it up as they go?
I say leave the Market Hill alone and build the bus station. When it’s done then level the old one. It’s covered in concrete and Tarmac so weeds won’t grow while people make up their minds what to do with it.
You only have two and a half years left to spend this money so make some decisions now!
