St Nicholas Hospice Care has been well supported by our community again in 2013, so I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who did anything to help us throughout the year.

Because of the care we provide, many people feel inspired to help us fundraise and volunteer. It really is heart-warming to have such ongoing support.

It has been a challenging year, with more organisations becoming reliant on public donations and several other local appeals running but, thankfully, the support from the community has enabled us to provide care to hundreds of families each day and plan for the future as we enter our 30th year of care in 2014.

The development of our services is growing fast and we are providing more and more support to people in the community.

One clear example of this is the development of our first outreach centre in Haverhill. We have been able to achieve this thanks to grant funding, and we hope to be operational by spring 2014.

Our other services are also developing so that we can provide even more care to our community, working as one team to help as many families as we possibly can.

So thank you again – without your kindness, we simply wouldn’t be able to help so many families.
