Roads worthy of third world

Have your say

Our Christmas holiday with relatives in Harare was marred by potholed streets, which can be typical of a third world country where road maintenance is not a priority.

How good it would be to return to Sudbury and carefree motoring, we told ourselves.

Now we see how wrong we were!

Are we back in the third world again, where road maintenance is still not a priority?

Or is it the freeze on the council tax, added to the freezing weather, that has frozen the highway maintenance planners into inactivity?
