Public must be trusted to recycle

DUE to a medical condition, my black bin tends to fill quite quickly, and the amount of plastic bags I have to use to double wrap it all can not be a good thing.

To have it all festering for two weeks is quite disgusting. I am glad I have cats, they have been catching the odd rat or two.

The argument is, that if weekly collection is reinstated, recycling would reduce (Return to weekly bin collections dismissed, November 4).

How has this been decided, it hasn’t been proven yet.

The inference is therefore, that we the public, who pay their wages, can not be trusted. This sticks in the throat!
