The other day, I took my little nephew to Belle Vue Park in Sudbury and, on leaving, we had to go up Ingram’s Well Road.
It was a warm day so the park was busy and cars lined both sides of the road yet, due to the lack of pavement, I was forced to take the buggy out into the centre of the road to go around the parked cars.
I believe this is totally unsatisfactory.
Ingram’s Well Road, leading to direct access to the park, will no doubt have scores of small children nearby. Of course, if they are old enough to walk, then they can do so on the grass beside the road, but this option is not there for buggies.
No-one should have to take a buggy into the centre of a road for lack of pavement.
