Reading the comments in the last two weeks’ Free Press about JBS Butchers makes one wonder at the reasoning of some people.
Years ago, rabbits, pigs’ heads and carcasses of all kinds were displayed in butcher’s shop windows and even hanging up outside their shops.
The only complaint since then has been that butcher’s shops have never looked so good.
Where do these people tell their children the sausages, burgers and chicken nuggets they eat come from – a box in a supermarket?
So they won’t be visiting Sudbury market either as there is a butcher’s van there displaying dead pheasants, rabbits and such like. Good luck JBS – a very good butcher of the old school.
