Bypass should be a priority

The A131/134 is a major north/south route used by vehicles large and small.

Unfortunately, it runs through the heart of historic Sudbury causing noise, pollution, and a pedestrian unfriendly town.

Apart from the reported problems in Cross Street, there is the danger to pedestrians from fast-moving traffic approaching the Belle Vue junction, especially those attempting to cross between Newton Road and King Street.

There is no warning to drivers speeding around the blind bend from Girling Street into Newton Road that there are pedestrians crossing.

Elderly, disabled, and mothers with children are regularly seen risking their lives as they try to run to avoid being hit.

The town park is an island with no pedestrian crossing.

There are so many reasons why money has to be able to come from somewhere for a bypass for this town as a priority.
