Upgrade plans for two Sudbury buildings

PLANNING applications to alter two prominent Sudbury buildings will be debated next week.

Sudbury Town Council are due to meet on Monday to discuss proposals to build a new shop front for the grade II listed Anchor pub in Friars Street.

As part of the plans existing outbuildings at the pub would also be knocked down.

Councillors will also look into an application put forward by religious society, the Quakers, to build a single story extension onto the 18th century Friends Meeting House in Friars Street.
