Gainsborough Street in Sudbury was closed yesterday after a two-vehicle collision.
Police were called to the incident just after 4.30pm.
The collision involved a red Vauxhall Zafira and a grey Skoda Yeti.
One vehicle overturned and a woman had to be cut fromt the vehicle by the fire service.
Her injuries were not believed to be serious.
A number of police cars, fire engines and ambulances attended the scene with traffic redirected down Friars Street.
The road was reopened at around 7pm.
Long Queues are forming because of the closure, including on alternative routes out of the town.
