Young offenders helped out on community projects in the Sudbury area last week as part of their rehabilitation.

Teenagers involved with Catch 22, a charity which works with The Hub youth club, helped remove graffiti in Glemsford, move three tonnes of soil at Sudbury’s Newton Road allotments and spruce up the town’s BMX track.

“They are the best group I’ve ever worked with, they are just so motivated,” said community warden Bradley Smith.

Louise Barnett from Catch 22 said volunteers were always needed for mentoring and other work. Visit www.catch-22.org.uk or call her on 07776172716 to get involved.
