A man has died following a crash on the A134 at Assington last night (Tuesday).
The crash took place at about 10.15pm and involved one car, a blue Skoda.
The ambulance service, the East Anglian Air Ambulance and the Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS) team treated a man in his 60s, but he died at the scene.
Police and fire crews also attended and closed the road.
A spokesman for SARS said: “Despite the efforts of all the emergency personnel at the scene, the man later died from his injuries.
“Our thoughts go out to his family and friends at this difficult time.”
