A car with a four-year-old child in the back has crashed into a property in Hadleigh.

Police were called to Brett Avenue in Hadleigh at 11.36am this morning (July 29) after a car collided into a property.

The Vauxhall Astra came off the road and went through a fence before crashing into the property, trapping the driver and two passengers in the vehicle.

Police, fire services and ambulance crews attended the scene.

All three passengers in the vehicle have been taken to hospital however their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.

The female driver was suffering from neck pains and a graze to her knee, while the female passenger suffered chest and stomach pains.

The child was said to have superficial injuries to her neck.

Emergency services are still at the scene and gas and electric engineers have had to be called out.

A police spokeswoman said the property had been severely damaged and a structural engineer had also been called out.
