THOUSANDS of people are expected to attended Sudbury’s Party in the Park this weekend.
The annual event, which is now in its third year, will take place at Belle Vue Park from 11am on Sunday.
Organised by Sudbury Town Council, the event helps to raise the profile of the many clubs and groups in and around the town.
Deputy town clerk Jacqui Howells said: “We are really excited about this year’s event and are hoping it will be the best yet.
“We have some wonderful acts performing throughout the day, which we are sure everybody will enjoy.”
Among the attractions at the event, which will this year be opened by the Samboomba Samba Band, are circus workshops, Punch and Judy and martial arts displays.
There will also be a barbecue and beer tent, with musical entertainment from a number of bands from 5pm to 8pm.
