A Sudbury charity has joined forces with a leading band for a fundraising evening in the town.

The Eden-Rose Coppice is holding another reggae night with Desmond Dekker’s former band Innerheart.

It is hoped the event will be a repeat of last year’s sell out, which raised more than £1,000.

Innerheart will appear at the Granary in Quay Lane on November 29, from 7.30pm.

Trust founder Rob Brooks said: “The fact they are appearing in Sudbury to help our charity is fabulous.”

The coppice provides a retreat for cancer patients, as well as offering environmental learning opportunities for schoolchildren and those with disabilities.

Tickets cost £12.50 and include a Caribbean meal, with all proceeds going to the trust. To book, call Mr Books on 07811 111788.
