A group of “tooth fairies” from a dental practice in Sudbury have raised more than £1,000 for oral cancer by taking part in a sponsored 10k walk.

The dentists and dental nurses from Bank Buildings Dental Surgery travelled to London’s Hyde Park dressed as fairies to take part in the Mouth Cancer awareness walk.

Practice manager Eileen Pettet said: “At Bank Buildings Dental Surgery, we continue to detect mouth cancer in our patients and wish to do the best to support those patients who are undergoing treatment.”
