A teenager from Sudbury has been ordered to complete 60 hours of unpaid community work after being caught with a knuckle duster and drugs in Belle Vue Park.

Ricky Thomas, of Borehamgate, was also told to pay £80 costs and a £60 victim surcharge at Bury St Edmunds Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.

Thomas had pleaded guilty to charges of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and cannabis at an earlier hearing.
