Familiar faces – now a little older and wiser – were brought together as class members from Sudbury Secondary Modern School reunited after 50 years.
Pupils who were part of class 4A1 in 1956/57 met up to share school memories at Newton Green Golf Club recently.
A total of 24 former classmates attended the reunion, along with the class’s last surviving teacher, Norman Gregory, 90.
Jean Theobald, from Cats Lane, Sudbury, said the get-together had taken around seven months to organise.
“People came from all over the place, including America,” she said.
“It took quite a while to locate everyone, but the majority came along and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it.
“We hope to do it again in five years time,” she said.
