Sudbury home’s plan for parking

A SUDBURY care home has applied for permission to turn its temporary car park into a permanent feature.

Hazell Court in Acton Lane recently had a new rehabilitation unit built, and the 10 extra spaces towards the front of the building were put in place to cope with demand.

Buildings and development manager Mark Smith said: “It has worked well for the front of the building, especially with access for ambulances and visitors. It is all part of the ongoing development of the site.”

The home is also applying for permission from Babergh District Council to improve fencing.

The consultation period for the plans ends on December 20.
