Thousands of people descended on Boxford to see the daredevil sideshow The Wall of Death at the weekend.
Set up in the car park of the White Hart, visitors watched motorbike and go-cart riders whizz around inside a 30-foot high wooden barrel – passing inches from the audience.
Pub manager Miguel Lopes said: “We were overwhelmed by the response this year. So many people came to enjoy this unique show. We also had motorbike riders come from all over Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex.”
The show was in Boxford two years ago. It is connected to Boxford because George “Tornado” Smith, who grew up at the White Hart, performed in the stunt show in the 1930s.
